University at Albany Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club
About
Our objectives are to provide a space where pre-veterinary students can gather, assist each other, and relate to one another. We work to provide things like college info sessions where we typically have a zoom meeting with a representative from a requested veterinary school to have them explain what their school and program is like, and answer any students' questions. We also try to provide either some kind of community service or animal experience hours for students to put under their belt and get some real-world experience. We host a range of meetings from extremely educational on the vet school application process, to relaxing with snacks and kahoot. While the club is called "Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club" we are open to ALL, including students pursuing other animal-related careers, students who just like to talk about or listen to information about animals, and students who just need somewhere to hang out and be with people.
